Payroll Specialist

Overview
We are a growing [industry type: finance, outsourcing, real estate, e-commerce, etc.] company seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled in managing payroll processes for remote teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on time for employees/contractors.
- Maintain payroll records, timesheets, and employee information.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and reimbursements.
- Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management.
- Coordinate with HR/Accounting to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees.
- Assist with benefits administration and government filings (if applicable).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, Payroll VA, or similar role.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Gusto, QuickBooks Payroll, Xero Payroll, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English (written & verbal).
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Degree or certification in Accounting, HR, or related field is an advantage but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From Php200.00 per hour
