Overview

We are a growing [industry type: finance, outsourcing, real estate, e-commerce, etc.] company seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled in managing payroll processes for remote teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and on time for employees/contractors.
  • Maintain payroll records, timesheets, and employee information.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and reimbursements.
  • Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management.
  • Coordinate with HR/Accounting to resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees.
  • Assist with benefits administration and government filings (if applicable).

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, Payroll VA, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Gusto, QuickBooks Payroll, Xero Payroll, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills in English (written & verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Degree or certification in Accounting, HR, or related field is an advantage but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From Php200.00 per hour
