Job Description:

The Financial Analyst (Bookkeeping-Focused) plays a dual role within the organization, encompassing financial oversight, coordination, and transactional monitoring. This role is integral to supporting both the Accounts Payable function and the affiliated leasing business of Rivson Farmer's Agri Depot (RFAD). This position ensures that all financial transactions are accurately captured, categorized, and reported in a timely manner while maintaining consistency with internal policies and external compliance requirements.

In addition to overseeing day-to-day accounting activities for RFAD and supervising AP operations, this role acts as the liaison among the Compliance Officer, Bank Relations Officer, and various internal stakeholders to maintain accuracy and alignment in financial reporting, loan billing, and intercompany transactions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

RFAD Business oversight

· Monitor and manage the daily financial activities and bookkeeping of RFAD, ensuring the accurate recording of collections, deposits, and disbursements.

· Prepare complete and timely monthly financial statements, trial balances, and variance analyses.

Supervision & Coordination

· Supervise the AP Coordinator and AP Trade and Non-Trade Staff to ensure timely validation, accrual, and reconciliation of all trade and non-trade accounts.

· Ensure intercompany billing, especially for interest and principal amounts advanced by the mother company, is accurately documented.

Cross-Functional Alignment

· Coordinate with the Compliance Officer for proper tax treatment, including VAT and withholding taxes.

· Work closely with the Bank Relations Officer to align loan schedules, fund transfers, and payroll transactions.

Financial Reports Preparation, Financial Analysis & Systems

· Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in general ledger entries

· Prepare journal entries for accruals, adjustments, and corrections

· Ensure the proper reconciliation of supplier/vendor statements, and other sub-ledgers

· Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions

· Support the month-end and year-end closing processes

· Analyze financial data to support strategic decisions and operational improvements.

· Participate in developing and enhancing accounting systems and internal controls.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA is an advantage but not required.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, general accounting, or bookkeeping, preferably in a multi-entity or supervisory role.

· Demonstrated ability to prepare full sets of financial statements and perform detailed financial analysis.

· Strong experience in supervising or coordinating with AP processes.

· Familiarity with intercompany accounting, lease accounting, and related tax implications.

· Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Excel.

· Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

· High degree of professionalism and integrity.
