About the Role

As an Application Architect, you'll lead the
cloud strategy formulation for application platforms and hosting choices
. You'll run portfolio assessments, define target states, and design solutions that balance modernization with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define architecture strategy and technology roadmap aligned with business and cloud goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend service models, application platforms (Azure App Service, Kubernetes, Container Apps), and infrastructure choices.
  • Lead application assessments and feasibility studies to identify workloads for migration or consolidation.
  • Work with SMEs to analyze dependencies, business drivers, and constraints.
  • Design solutions for application modernization, refactoring, and migration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and automated hosting environments.
  • Present and recommend target state platforms and migration roadmaps.
  • Address integration, security, and operational aspects of consolidated hosting environments.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 10–12 years of experience in application architecture.
  • Proven experience leading application assessments, migrations, and consolidations.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure platforms (App Service, Kubernetes, Container Apps).
  • Experience defining target-state architectures and migration roadmaps.
  • Ability to work onsite in Manila for the project duration.

Good-to-Have

  • Experience with Azure managed services (App Services, Container Apps, AKS).
  • Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving.
  • Communication skills to engage executives and SMEs.
  • Leadership and project management capabilities.
