About the role

Gitamondoc-Gopaoco Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced IT Back End Developer to join our talented team in our Camputhaw, Cebu City office. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure back-end systems to support our growing business. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of our IT infrastructure and make a significant impact on the company's digital transformation initiatives.

What you'll be doing

  1. Design and develop efficient, scalable, and secure back-end systems and APIs
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  3. Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices
  4. Participate in the full software development life cycle, including planning, architecture, development, testing, and deployment
  5. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, address issues, and implement improvements
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry trends

What we're looking for

  1. With 1-2 years of experience as a back-end developer, preferably in the construction or related industry
  2. Proficiency in one or more server-side programming languages, such as Python, Java, or
  3. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  6. A passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning
