Overview of the Role

A Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for leading the design strategy to maintain brand consistency across all platforms, including mobile apps and marketing materials. They create engaging visuals such as logos, UI elements, and marketing assets while developing wireframes and prototypes to improve user experience. They stay updated on design trends, particularly in fintech, to ensure the platform remains competitive. Additionally, they manage design files, streamline workflows, and collaborate seamlessly with development teams.

Main duties include:

Design Strategy

Ensuring that the design aligns with the company brand and maintains consistency across all touchpoints, including mobile apps, web interfaces, and marketing materials.

Developing and maintaining the company logo, color palette, typography, and visual elements that reflect values and industry standards.

Ensuring brand consistency across all digital and physical assets, from websites to social media channels, emails, and other materials.

Creating branded visual assets, such as promotional banners, social media posts, and email newsletter templates, that communicate the company's message and offerings effectively.

User Interface (UI) Design

Leading the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups that define the website's flow and functionality.

Assist in providing visual components for the user interface, such as icons, buttons, illustrations, and charts that make the platform easier to use and more visually appealing.

Innovation and Market Awareness

Keeping up to date with design trends, particularly in the fintech industry, to ensure the platform remains modern, competitive, and user-friendly

Marketing and Communication Design

This includes flyers, brochures, infographics, and case studies to communicate the company's services, features, and benefits to community members, advisers, and sponsors

Directly responsible for the web layout and ensuring that the visual elements on the website or app are polished and cohesive.

Content Creation and Visual Storytelling

Designing presentations for internal and external communications, meetings, investor pitches, or client demos. The goal is to create visually appealing and professional presentations that communicate key business information clearly and ensure that brand guidelines and business objectives are achieved

Responsive and Scalable Design

Ensuring that designs are adaptable and look great across different screen sizes, devices, and formats, whether it's for mobile apps, web interfaces, or can be reusable as print materials.

Developing templates for common design needs like social media posts, blog posts, presentations, to streamline the design process and maintain consistency.

File management – Template

Ensure all design files are systematically organized, properly named, and stored for easy access and version control.

Prepare and deliver final design files to development teams with proper documentation, ensuring seamless handoff and integration.

Implement and manage regular backups and security protocols for design files, ensuring their integrity and accessibility across platforms.

Requirements

Sr Graphic Designer with UX/UI experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience or abovein a similar or related role

Proficient in Adobe Creative tools - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and XD.

Proficient in Canva, Video Editing like Capcut, Figma, and MS360

Experienced in service design, user experience design, or related fields, along with proficiency in design thinking methodologies and a strong understanding of user-centered design

A deep understanding of design principles, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI) design is vital

Experienced with UX research tools: User testing platforms, survey tools, etc.

Designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications

Strong analytical skills, problem-solving mindset - ability to interpret user research and usability testing data

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
