Finance Manager Role
As the client-facing Finance Manager at Facta, you'll be at the helm of our most critical and complex client initiatives in the dynamic SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) industry. This role isn't just about managing finances; it's about cultivating C-Level and VP-Level relationships, helping companies drive growth through strategic decision-making, managing a team to deliver a month-end close and embodying the Facta brand. You'll be responsible for overseeing client relationships and playing a pivotal leadership role both within and outside the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Dive deep into client financial and operational strategies.
Leverage our software to support clients in streamlining their financial operations, conducting strategic reviews, and uncovering valuable insights.
Review and analyze client financials, updating forecasts, identifying trends, and communicating key messages to C-level executives.
Deliver strategic analysis that is both usable and relevant for internal and/or external clients.
Identify and develop opportunities to expand client relationships.
Establish yourself and Facta as indispensable trusted business advisors/partners.
Assist in the recruitment and management of our offshore customer support and accounting support team.
Job Responsibilities
1. Financial Monthly Close
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Work alongside Facta Accountants to maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
2. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
Develop and maintain financial models to support business forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Analyze key financial metrics and performance indicators to provide insights into business performance.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting
Collaborate with C-Level executives to create and manage annual budgets.
Monitor budget variances and provide proactive recommendations to optimize financial performance.
4. Financial Reporting
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Cash Flow Management
Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support day-to-day operations.
Implement strategies to optimize cash flow efficiency.
6. Compliance
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
Oversee annual tax return diligence requests for tax partners
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Deep experience and understanding of the specific needs of venture-backed startups.
Expertise in the SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) industry, especially SaaS metrics and financial operations issues specific to this segment.
Experience with independent financial audit is a plus.
Proficiency in financial analysis and strong accounting skills, especially in areas relevant to the SaaS industry.
Fundraising expertise and proficiency in transaction advisory.
Ability to develop relationships with C-level executives.
Proficient in financial modeling.
Previous experience in a multi-client consulting environment.
