Purchasing and Inventory Associate

The Purchasing & Inventory Associate is responsible for handling the store's supply chain needs, from ordering stocks with suppliers to monitoring inventory levels. The role ensures that all ingredients, packaging, and other store supplies are ordered on time, properly stored, and efficiently managed to support smooth daily operations of our stores (Kim's Ramyun)

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with approved suppliers to place purchase orders for ingredients, beverages, packaging, and other store needs.
• Track and monitor inventory levels regularly to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system records.
• Maintain an organized storage system to ensure food safety and minimize waste.
• Monitor product quality, shelf life, and expiration dates.
• Compare supplier prices and negotiate for the best cost and delivery terms when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory reports.
• Work closely with store staff and management to forecast supply needs based on sales and seasonal demand.
• Coordinate timely delivery schedules and ensure suppliers meet agreed timelines.
• Implement cost-control measures and suggest improvements in purchasing and inventory processes.

Job Qualifications:

• Preferably with experience in purchasing, inventory, or store operations (food & beverage industry is a plus).
• Knowledge in stock monitoring and basic accounting.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Proficient in MS Excel or other inventory management tools.
• Willing to work on-site and flexible with schedule.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
