About the Role:The 'Systems Administrator/ Developer – M365 & SharePoint' will work as part of the M365 Centre of Excellence Team in CITCO and act as a key liaison with Business, Security, Operations and Architecture stakeholders to support and administer the existing SharePoint Online/2019/2016/Teams/PowerPlatform Infrastructure.
The candidate should have a technical background with experience with SharePoint Online and on-premise, MS Teams & PowerPlatform & related operations and development techniques. Job Duties in Brief:Administration of SharePoint Online, OneDrive, MS Teams and PowerPlatform across multiple geolocations. Working with server-side administration and troubleshooting of SharePoint Server on-prem.
Form creation using PowerApps and workflow development using PowerAutomate. Development of new custom user interfaces within SharePoint using SPFx, and support of legacy custom interfaces built using InfoPath & HTML/JavaScript. Migrations from SharePoint on-prem to SharePoint Online using ShareGate.
Ability to implement, administer and maintain multiple SharePoint farms. Design and maintain key performance metrics for all SharePoint sites & PowerPlatform environments and regularly report them to management with recommendations for improvement. Managing the site layout structure and content.
Experience in managing site rights and permissions. Deploying, configuring, and managing new site collections and associated sub-sites. Managing content databases and creating new ones as required.
Experience with planning and organizing SPO/M365 administration activities. Experience with SharePoint workflow, Nintex workflow, & content management. Experience with monitoring usage, including access, load, and usability issues.
Demonstrate effective teamwork and working relationships with others. Demonstrate a self-directed approach to learning new technologies in the field; pursue professional development. Take personal ownership (going beyond assigned tasks to make projects better, identifies and reports issues, demonstrates strong concern for client and initiatives).
About You:The successful candidate is an energetic and effective team contributor with a passion for solution development, new technologies and automation. Must have familiarity with best practices in system management & JavaScript development and be confident in administering large SharePoint & PowerPlatform environments.
Required Experience5 years' experience in related field, with at least 3 years as a SharePoint administrator or PowerPlatform administrator.3 years' JavaScript development experience, preferably SPFx. Experience using and building forms & workflows and integrating SharePoint with external systems. Experience with modern web development techniques, and experience with building web user interfaces.
Knowledge of SharePoint, Teams & PowerPlatform governance best practices. Knowledgeable of the differences between sites, site collections, workspaces, web parts, document libraries, and lists as they relate to SharePoint and know when and how to use them. Knowledge and experience with SharePoint customization using Site Definitions, SharePoint Templates and development of custom web parts.
Proven SharePoint & PowerPlatform administration capability. Certification is a plus. Technical SkillsSharePoint Online / O365Microsoft SharePoint 2016/2019PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI, MS Teams, Azure.
HTML, CSS, SCSS, jQuery, JavaScript, NodeJSReact and knowledge of the SPFx & Teams development stack is highly desirable. Microsoft SharePoint DesignerMicrosoft InfoPathREST & SOAP.Experience in Nintex Workflow would be advantageous. Experience with Azure functions would be advantageous.
Experience with Azure devops or ALM.IIS Web Server, SQL Server, Windows PowerShell. EducationBachelors' degree or equivalent experience. SharePoint or M365 Certification and training.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and training.
