Your Role
As an Finance Administrator, you are responsible for:
- Process and manage invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements.
- Set up and maintain debtor accounts, ensuring all client financial records are up to date and accurately reflect client agreements.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding debts and assist in debt recovery processes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable accounts reconciliation, including purchase order reconciliation.
- Respond promptly and professionally to email inquiries from internal stakeholders and external clients and suppliers.
- Maintain financial data in client management systems.
- General office management, booking travel arrangements, ordering office stationery, etc.
- Payroll processing.
- Assisting the Company Account in BAS lodgments with the ATO, and setting up relevant payments to the tax authority.
- Reconciling monthly supplier statements; including follow up of invoices or credit notes.
- Support the Company Accountant in producing other internal financial reports as may be required.
- Generating reporting and financial analysis as requested by the Company Accountant.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and financial administration.
- Relevant industry qualifications.
- Proven experience working within Australian taxation laws (GST) and payroll requirements.
- Previous experience in office management.
- Ability to support internal stakeholders.
- Strong data entry skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience in utilizing multiple systems in order to provide financial accounting outcomes.
- Proficiency in financial systems (Xero preferred), accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), ZOHO.
- Intermediate to advance knowledge of computer software systems utilized in a community setting.
