Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Location:Cebu City, 07, PH Work Arrangement: Hybrid Summary Description : The General Ledger Analyst is responsible for delivering timely and quality service to internal Dover customers, as measured by service level agreements and key performance indicators. Key activities include processing general ledger transactions and related activities, performing calculations and analysis, preparing reports, and supporting period close processes to ensure accurate, complete, and timely reporting of financial results.

The General Ledger Accountant will also be responsible for performing account reconciliations and performance reporting. Essential Responsibilities (Depends on the RTR team to be assigned to) Processes journal entries, allocations, and period end adjustments Performs monthly and annual closing procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals Performs balance sheet account reconciliation Posts and reconciles intercompany transactions Monitors and processes fixed-asset additions and capitalization, retirement and disposal, adjustments, revaluations, transfers and maintenance expenses Calculates and records depreciation expense Performs cash management including its reconciliation Provides audit support, both internal and external Perform other accounting tasks as assigned Supports continuous improvement for general ledger processes Supports DBS Record-To-Report initiatives and priorities Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Management Accounting Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (i.e. basic to complex formulas, pivoting, graphs and charts, Macro Excel is a plus) Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Applications (including SharePoint and Web-based applications) Preferred Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to critically analyze data and determine its validity Exercises professional skepticism Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment while remaining organized with strict attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines and produce accurate results Willing to work flexible hours when business conditions dictate
