The
Corporate Finance Officer
s
upports business leaders in decisions by determining the value and impact of options based on results from financial modeling and analysis of business performance and returns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the attractiveness of deals through business analysis, investment analysis, and business value maximization in corporate finance and public-private partnership transactions.
  • Assess growth or cost-saving initiatives and returns based on operating results in comparison to investment case analysis, and based on strategic investment value of operating business units.
  • Create, review, enhance and/or correct financial models (both existing and from scratch) to include scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and returns analysis, among others, upholding the financial modeling best practices of the company's Corporate Finance Team.
  • Conduct, review, and/or improve financial analysis and oral and written presentations of findings.
  • Prepare, review, and/or revise PowerPoint presentations for Management, Board Directors, and Investment Committees.
  • Assist in training or developing the technical skills (such as critical thinking, financial analysis, financial modeling, and insight generation from financial analysis) of other team members in the Corporate Finance and Project Development Teams, and other members whom the Corporate Finance Team collaborates with from other business units.
  • Research and understand industry/market conditions and developments.
  • Assist in the preparation and production of Corporate Finance correspondence, reports, and documents.
  • Directly liaise with the project development teams, business units, accounting teams and top-tier officers of large organizations.
  • Coordinate teams of professionals, including project development leads, operations team leads, industry experts, accountants, lawyers, tax specialists, among others.
  • Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time that will support organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts Major in Finance, Management/Business Administration, Economics or Accounting, preferred.
  • 2-5 years of related experience.
  • Big 4 accounting firm background or transaction services experience from investment banks, a plus
  • Chartered Financial Analyst examination, a plus
