About the role

Isetann Department Store is looking for experienced Supermarket Supervisors to join our dynamic team in Quiapo, Manila City. In this full-time role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supermarket, overseeing the day-to-day activities of our retail staff and driving exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and supervise a team of retail assistants, providing guidance, training and support to ensure high performance
  2. Monitor and maintain stock levels, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages
  3. Oversee the presentation and organisation of the store, ensuring it meets our high standards
  4. Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  5. Assist with cash management and reconciliation processes
  6. Implement health, safety and security procedures to safeguard both staff and customers
  7. Support the overall business objectives and contribute to the success of the supermarket

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail or customer service environment
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  3. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  4. Proficient in inventory management and cash handling procedures
  5. Working knowledge of health and safety regulations in a retail setting
  6. Flexible and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
