Project Engineer (Construction)

Location: Lot 20 Block 12, Silcas Village, San Francisco, Binãn, Philippines, 4024Employment Type: Full-time (after 6-month probationary period)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Project Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects from planning to completion. The role involves supervising site activities, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and safety standards, and supporting project execution to meet timelines, budgets, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Supervision

  • Oversee daily site operations and ensure work is carried out according to plans, specifications, and schedule.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and workers to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, structural integrity, and compliance with standards.

Planning & Documentation

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
  • Prepare and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Monitor project costs and assist in budget management.
  • Prepare daily/weekly site reports, progress updates, and documentation.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and statutory regulations.
  • Implement quality control measures and resolve technical issues on site.
  • Coordinate inspections, permits, and compliance requirements with local authorities.

Client & Team Coordination

  • Provide project updates to management and clients.
  • Assist in resolving site concerns and technical queries.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Licensed Civil Engineer
  • At least 3-5 years experience in construction (residential, commercial, etc).
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and standards.
  • Proficient in project management tools, MS Office, AutoCAD, Planswift, etc.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to work on-site and handle field conditions.

Work Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, [8 AM–5 PM]
  • Willing to work during weekends.
