Role Overview:
We're looking for a dependable and articulate Customer Support Expert to manage inbound calls from clients and leads. In this role, you'll provide prompt, professional assistance, record accurate information in our systems, and ensure every caller receives an exceptional experience. You should be calm under pressure, tech-savvy, and comfortable working on flexible or rotating schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls with confidence, professionalism, and empathy
- Follow established scripts and accurately log all customer details in the CRM
- Schedule and book jobs promptly, especially in urgent or emergency cases
- Adjust communication style and tone to match each caller's needs
- Demonstrate awareness of geographic and postcode references to maintain a local approach
- Collaborate with internal teams for escalations or coordination as required
- Participate in regular training sessions and performance evaluations
Mandatory Skills:
- Clear, neutral, or soft-accented English communication
- Excellent active listening and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stay composed during stressful or emotional interactions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRMs, call systems, and team platforms
- Reliable, consistent, and open to feedback and skill development
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in customer service, dispatch, or call center operations
- Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management
- Knowledge of UK or international postcode systems
- Adaptability to new tools and procedures
- Experience managing service-related inquiries requiring urgency
Technical Requirements:
- Primary internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps) and backup connection
- Backup power source (UPS or generator)
- Laptop/desktop with a noise-canceling headset
- Quiet, distraction-free workspace
