Responsibilities:
The Community Development Specialist provides operational and administrative support for the development and implementation of sustainability programs and initiatives. This role involves assisting with research, data collection, communication tasks, and logistical arrangements to ensure the smooth execution of community development activities.
This role is pivotal in shaping and executing ACEN OPS' sustainability strategy. Specific duties involve:

Program Support: Provide logistical and administrative support for the implementation of sustainability programs and initiatives, including scheduling meetings, organizing events, and preparing materials.

Data Collection & Management: Assist in the collection, organization, and maintenance of data related to sustainability programs and ESG reporting. Ensure data accuracy and accessibility.

Communication Assistance: Support the development and dissemination of communication materials such as emails, IEC materials, and social media posts under the guidance of senior team members.

Research Assistance: Conduct basic research on sustainability topics, best practices, and relevant information as required.

Stakeholder Coordination: Assist in coordinating communication and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders.

Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of program activities, reports, and other relevant documentation.

Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence.

Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of sustainability-related events and workshops.

Compliance Support: Assist in ensuring adherence to relevant sustainability policies and guidelines.

Learning & Development: Actively participate in learning opportunities to enhance knowledge of sustainability and community development practices.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies, Development Studies, Political Science, or any related field.

1-2 years of experience in community development, sustainability, or a related field.

Basic understanding of sustainability concepts.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).

Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.

Willing to work onsite in Manapla, Negros with possibility of traveling within Visayas.
