Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform proper identification of patient including age status, diagnosis.
  • Perform blood collection procedure (venipuncture, skin puncture arterial puncture) and handling.
  • Check specific laboratory request prior to collection.
  • Performs different laboratory examinations and specimen analysis under the supervision of the Senior Med Tech on Duty.
  • Rotates in different section of the laboratory.
  • Record and file results for documentation.
  • Attach and file results on patient charts and OPD card.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time.
