Geotechnical Engineer

• assists senior engineers with geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design work, gaining practical experience in a supportive environment.
• Responsibilities include supporting field investigations, analyzing data, preparing reports, and learning geotechnical software and design principles.
• They work under the supervision of experienced engineers, gradually taking on more complex tasks as they develop their skills.
• Ensuring proper documentation and data entry for project records.
• Participating in geotechnical site investigations and assisting with planning and coordination.

Essential Skills:

• Foundational Knowledge: Understanding soil classification systems and basic field testing methods.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, or geotechnical analysis software is often required or preferred.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.
• Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication for reporting and collaboration.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and contribute to solutions for geotechnical challenges.
