Position: Experienced Operations Manager (Finance Outsourcing)

We are looking for a results-driven Operations Manager with strong experience in finance outsourcing or shared service operations to lead and scale our growing remote team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across finance outsourcing engagements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with SLAs
  • Streamline workflows and optimize resource allocation to improve efficiency and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with finance, HR, and technology teams to ensure smooth end-to-end service delivery
  • Drive operational excellence through process improvement, automation, and KPI management
  • Support client onboarding, service transitions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to maintain high performance and professional growth

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager in a finance outsourcing, shared service, or BPO environment
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance processes (AP/AR, GL, reporting, payroll, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in tools and platforms used in finance operations (ERP or cloud-based systems such as Odoo, QuickBooks, or Xero is an advantage)
  • Exceptional communication and client management abilities
  • Comfortable working remotely across international time zones
  • Willingness to travel to Rwanda periodically for in-person work, training, or team collaboration sessions
