The Position:

Paraplanners are an integral part of the Advice Delivery Team who work with our advice partners to provide quality personal advice documents to achieve an excellent customer experience. The successful candidate will be instrumental to ensuring that advice provided to clients is compliant with industry regulations. As a Paraplanner you will work closely with a network of Financial Advisors, providing quality customised support to meet our clients' needs, ensuring that all activities are undertaken smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Focus and Managing Relationships
  • Strong communication skills and ability to verbalise complex concepts simply.
  • Develop effective and active relationships with Advisors and support staff, Professional Standards Team, Paraplanning team and Leadership team.
  • Ensure a continuous focus on the end-to-end client experience.
  • Ensure that our clients are the focus of everything we do.
  • Technical/Compliance
  • An understanding of best interest obligations and how they relate to research and supporting documentation.
  • Ability to identify, develop and document a range of financial strategies which is clear and concise with a focus on compliance and best interest.
  • An existing knowledge of various tax structures, entities, and other complex and comprehensive financial advice strategies.
  • Comply with relevant Viridian processes, compliance and legislative requirements including regular quality control testing.
  • Productivity and Quality
  • Maintain a satisfactory or higher level of productivity and quality as defined by KPI targets.
  • Support initiatives that improve our key processes and controls.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience within a Paraplanner role >3 years.
  • Appropriate technical and financial planning strategy knowledge (successful completion of a technical test required).
  • Previous experience using Xplan software in a Paraplanner role >3 years; including WealthSolver and RiskResearcher.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline– Commerce, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent

The role is suitable for motivated individuals who have the necessary skills to 'hit the ground running' and immediately assist with SoA writing. It is for motivated individuals who can communicate complex concepts clearly, enjoy researching and developing advice solutions, and have the clients' best interests as the core of what they do. You would have strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and a sound knowledge of best interest obligations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php70,000.00 per month
