JOB DESCRIPTION:

YOUR ROLE AS:

Procurement Assistant Manager

As our Strategic Procurement Assistant Manager, you'll take the lead in executing sourcing strategies, driving commercial excellence, and delivering continuous value across your assigned categories and cluster. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders, lead strategic initiatives, and ensure that AirAsia remains competitive, efficient, and future-ready.

WHAT YOU'LL CHAMPION:

• Execute sourcing strategies and planned actions for assigned categories within the cluster.
• Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders to lead projects, ensuring timely achievement of objectives.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports on category spend, strategic plans, project status, and KPI performance.
• Plan and implement strategic sourcing projects to deliver savings and achieve KPIs (including cash flow, compliance, and risk management).
• Own contract execution and ensure supplier compliance with negotiated terms and conditions.
• Drive innovation by enabling supplier engagement and contributing local market insights.
• Strengthen AirAsia's brand image through excellence in procurement practices and customer advocacy.
• Promote AirAsia's culture, values, and procurement best practices internally and externally.
• Serve as the voice of the Group Procurement Category Lead and develop Category SME expertise.
• Maintain diligence, accuracy, and timely delivery of procurement actions and documentation.
• Champion excellence in procurement operations, including ownership of commercial and process activities.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor's degree holder in any relevant field of study.
• Strong business acumen with strategic thinking ability.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Strong negotiation capabilities with a track record of driving results.
• Smart worker who can prioritize effectively in dynamic environments.
• Skilled in project management, organization, time management, and presentations.
• People-oriented leader with strong stakeholder influence and team collaboration abilities.

MERITS:

• Extensive experience in Indirect Procurement is a must.
• Experience in FMCG is an advantage.
• Solid background in Strategic Procurement, sourcing, and category management.
