About the role

As the Truck Dispatcher at Rozko Transport, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient coordination and distribution of the company's fleet of trucks. In this full-time position based in Caloocan City Metro Manila, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely and effective delivery of goods and materials to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Liaise with clients to receive and process delivery orders, prioritising tasks based on deadlines and client requirements
  2. Allocate appropriate trucks and drivers to each delivery assignment, taking into account factors such as truck capacity, driver availability, and route optimisation
  3. Monitor the progress of deliveries in real-time, communicating with drivers and clients to proactively address any delays or issues
  4. Maintain detailed records of all dispatched orders, including tracking numbers, delivery times, and client feedback
  5. Collaborate with the operations team to optimise delivery routes and schedules, ensuring the efficient utilisation of the company's transportation resources
  6. Provide timely updates and reports to management on the performance and utilisation of the truck fleet

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a truck dispatching or logistics coordination role, preferably within the manufacturing or transportation industry
  2. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and make quick, informed decisions
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, drivers, and cross-functional teams
  4. Proficient in using transportation management software and other relevant technology to track and manage deliveries
  5. A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  6. A flexible and adaptable work style, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
