Overview:

A
DevOps Engineer
bridges the gap between development and operations teams by implementing and managing automated processes that accelerate the software development lifecycle. This role emphasizes collaboration, automation, and efficiency to build, test, and deploy software reliably and frequently. You'll work on coding, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipeline management, infrastructure automation, and security — all to ensure smooth and scalable deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automating repetitive tasks in the development and deployment process to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Designing and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and release of software.
  • Provisioning and managing infrastructure, often in cloud environments, and ensuring its reliability.
  • Overseeing system administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting to maintain system health and performance.
  • Fostering collaboration between development and operations teams to break down silos and improve communication.
  • Implementing security best practices throughout the development and deployment process.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a DevOps Engineer role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python for scripting and automation.
  • Solid Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems like Linux.
  • Expertise in tools for CI/CD, configuration management, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Skills in setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain system performance and reliability.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across teams.

  • Office Location: Panabo City, Davao Del Norte

  • Preferred Applicants: Residents of Panabo City, Davao City, or within the Davao Region.

  • Position: Full-time

  • Work Schedule: 3 PM – 12 MN

  • Weekends Off: Fixed
