JOB OVERVIEW:

The Accounting Intern will provide support to the Accounting and Finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks. This internship offers hands-on experience in corporate finance operations, allowing the intern to develop essential skills in accounting and financial management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounting Operations Support:

  • Assist in recording financial transactions and maintaining general ledger accounts.
  • Help process invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Support monthly account reconciliations and report preparation.

Financial Reporting:

  • Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and schedules.
  • Verify the accuracy of data in financial records.
  • Assist in generating reports for audits and compliance.

Document Management:

  • Organize and maintain financial documents and records.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of transactions.
  • Assist in digitizing records and updating accounting software systems.

Tax and Compliance Assistance:

  • Support in the preparation of tax forms and reports.
  • Help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Other Tasks:

  • Contribute ideas for improving accounting processes and procedures.
  • Perform other administrative and accounting-related duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting or financial management.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (knowledge of QuickBooks or similar software is a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Willing to work in Pasay City

Work Arrangement:

  • Location: Data Lake, Inc. Office / Pasay City
  • Schedule: Flexible hours to align with academic requirements and company needs.
