Finance Analyst

Job Description:

As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining accounting records, and reconciling company accounts. This includes completing the detailed month-end postings, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit or any other courses relevant to the position.

2. Preferably with 2-3 years of experience in the accounting, audit or finance field.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

5. Attention to details is a must.

Required Competencies:

1. Basic knowledge in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ("GAAP").

2. Basic knowledge in the computation of relevant government contribution (i.e. SSS, PHIC and HDMF).

3. Experience in Accounting Software (specifically Quickbooks deskstop).

4. Computer Skills: Microsoft Office functions (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Google functions (Google Docs, Sheets, and Forms).

5. Capable of working to meet tight deadline deliverables, and able to be flexible to prioritize multiple tasks and deliverables at one time.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manages posting of journal entries in Quickbooks for bills payment, invoices, payroll and other adjusting journal entries.

2. Responsible for maintaining, administering, monitoring and payment of statutory requirements (i.e. SSS, Philhealth, HDMF and BIR).

3. Prepares disbursement vouchers.

4. Expense Report and Employee Advance Management.

5. Assists in the preparation of Billing Invoice to Client.

6. Assists in the semi-monthly payroll disbursements.

7. Preparation of Monthly Financial Statements (i.e. Income Statement, Financial Position, etc.)

8. Assists in monthly monitoring and coordination with retainer on tax and other statutory payments such as Local Business Tax and Permit, Valued Added Tax ("VAT"), Withholding Tax on Compensation and Expanded Withholding Tax.

9. Maintains filing of documents (i.e. payment vouchers, source documents, other statutory related documents and other accounting related documents).

10. Coordinate with vendors for payment related correspondences.

11. Ensuring to keep updated with the issuances, policies, rules and regulations issued by Bureau of Internal Revenue ("BIR").

12. Provides suggestions on changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.

13. Performs other tasks assigned from time to time.

Work Set-Up and Schedule On-Site (Ortigas, Pasig City)

Monday to Friday, 10:30PM-7:30AM

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to Php30,000.00 per month
