Job Summary

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions that support MediCard's business objectives. This role requires a strong blend of business acumen and technical expertise to ensure that all solutions are scalable, secure, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices and enterprise architecture standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesSolutions Architecture

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Design scalable, reliable, and secure architectures for applications and systems.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development and engineering teams.

Technical Evaluation & Documentation

  • Assess and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
  • Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including high-level designs (Technical Build Permit) and detailed Architecture Design Documents.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, security guidelines, and best practices.

Quality Assurance & Support

  • Conduct code reviews and enforce adherence to coding and architectural standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support teams in resolving system challenges.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and architecture frameworks to continuously improve solution design.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar technical design role.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and architecture best practices.
  • Hands-on experience designing cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of Azure is a plus.
  • Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, automation, containerization).
  • Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems design.

  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (Java, ASP.NET Core).
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles and modern engineering practices.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to solve complex technical problems.

Project & Team Leadership

  • Experience managing technical projects and leading cross-functional teams.

Communication & Business Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid business acumen with the ability to align technology solutions to business goals.

Security & DevOps

  • Knowledge of IT security standards and best practices.
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php130, Php140,000.00 per month
