HR Generalist

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join Kids Are Champs Tutorial & Behavioral Center. This role will primarily focus on hiring, onboarding, and training teachers and staff, while supporting overall HR functions. The ideal candidate has experience in private schools, tutorial centers, or related educational institutions and understands the unique needs of managing academic and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified teachers, tutors, and support staff.
• Design and implement onboarding and orientation programs for new employees to ensure smooth integration.
• Develop, coordinate, and conduct training programs to improve teaching quality, classroom management, and employee skills.
• Partner with management to identify staffing needs and maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Monitor staff performance and provide support in evaluations, coaching, and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and child protection standards.
• Handle employee relations, concerns, and discipline in coordination with management.
• Maintain and update HR records, contracts, and reports.
• Support employee engagement and retention initiatives to build a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• At least 1-2 yrs of HR experience; background in private schools or tutorial centers strongly preferred.
• Solid experience in recruitment, onboarding, and training.
• Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR tools/software.
• A proactive and approachable personality with the ability to work independently.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Saturday (onsite).
• Full-time position.
