Be part of our client's team as a Treasury Analyst, providing critical support in cash flow reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury operations, financial risk management, and compliance. You'll assist with audits, maintain banking arrangements, and support system implementations, helping the group make informed financial decisions while developing your treasury expertise.

What We're Looking For

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or relevant discipline
• 3 to 5 years of experience in analysis, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong initiative; willingness to take ownership
• Excellent analytical capabilities, numeracy skills, and accountability
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring deadlines are met
• Experience working in a multinational environment

Bonus Points

• CA or CPA qualified
• Global treasury operations experience with a track record of increased responsibilities
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley, IFRS, and US GAAP desirable
• Previous experience with NetSuite, Blackline, and Adaptive desirable but not essential

Your Key Responsibilities

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

• Prepare daily cash flow forecast and weekly balance reporting for the Group
• Assist with monthly and quarterly cash flow reporting under IFRS and US GAAP
• Monitor and report cash flow metrics, including variance analysis
• Support Senior Treasury Accountant in forecast models and long-term planning
• Manage cross-functional relationships across the business

Reporting and Compliance

• Perform quarterly counterparty credit risk assessments
• Maintain FX and interest rate data in systems for reporting requirements across the Group
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and accounting entries for debt facilities, derivatives, and interest income
• Support audit processes, respond to queries, and ensure Sarbanes-Oxley controls meet US reporting regulations
• Prepare monthly treasury reports and dashboards highlighting key observations and trends for management and stakeholders

Treasury Operations

• Maintain database of Group banking arrangements, facilities, and authorized signatories
• Manage issuance and cancellation of bank guarantees
• Assist with opening and closing bank accounts and coordinate KYC processes with banking partners
• Support Group funding requirements, including interest rollovers, drawdowns, and repayments, ensuring accurate ERP reporting
• Support payment processing
• Support banking relationship management

Financial Risk Management

• Gather insights from financial markets, identify key drivers, and apply knowledge to portfolio exposures
• Assess financial risks such as interest rate, foreign exchange, credit, and liquidity risks
• Implement risk mitigation strategies

Projects

• Assist with treasury system implementation with News Corp and Finance Squad
• Support long-range cash flow forecasting automation project
