Logistics Supervisor

This role will oversee daily logistics operations with a strong focus on trucking, distribution, and policy development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate trucking operations, including scheduling, dispatching, routing, and load optimization.
• Monitor performance of drivers, trucks, and third-party logistics partners to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
• Develop, implement, and update logistics policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines in alignment with company objectives.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, safety standards, and company requirements (e.g., transport permits, vehicle maintenance, driver qualifications).
• Track key logistics KPIs (on-time delivery, truck utilization, cost per trip, fuel efficiency, etc.) and prepare management reports.
• Lead and mentor the trucking team, fostering discipline, accountability, and teamwork.
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to ensure smooth coordination
• Address and resolve logistics issues, including delays, damages, or disputes.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in logistics or transportation, with a focus on trucking operations.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and process improvements.
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations, fleet management, and safety compliance.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office
