Job Description:

  • Coordinate and manage international shipments and import activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations, trade agreements, and government policies.
  • Prepare and verify import documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, certificates of origin, and import licenses.
  • Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping companies.
  • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery while minimizing delays and demurrage charges.
  • Maintain accurate records of imported goods and related documentation.
  • Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments regarding shipping schedules and product availability.
  • Support the resolution of customs issues or discrepancies as they arise.
  • Monitor and report on import costs and suggest cost-saving initiatives.
  • Stay updated on changes in international trade regulations and tariffs.
  • Other tasks assigned by the management

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree on Customs or any course related to logistics
  • Preferred if with 1 year of experience
  • Familiar with international importation laws
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
