About the Role
We're looking for an IT Specialist to support the Player Support Squad and GameClub teams. You'll be responsible for ensuring that our hardware, software, and support tools are working at peak performance. From troubleshooting technical issues to maintaining system security, you'll be the go-to expert for keeping our frontline heroes online and ready to assist players.
What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day IT support for Player Support Squad and GameClub staff (hardware, software, and connectivity issues).
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, peripherals, and VoIP systems.
- Manage access and accounts for tools like Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom, and other support platforms.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to player support tools, ticketing systems, and communication platforms.
- Monitor system performance and escalate issues to IT management or vendors when necessary.
- Ensure security compliance — update patches, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
- Support network stability (LAN/WAN, VPN, internet redundancy) in the office.
- Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes by setting up and revoking accounts, devices, and permissions.
- Document IT processes, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides for internal use.
- Collaborate with the global IT and Player Support leadership to improve workflows and tool efficiency.
What You Should Have
- 2–4 years of IT support or systems administration experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom) and collaboration tools (Slack, MS Teams, Google Workspace, etc.).
- Knowledge of Windows and MacOS environments.
- Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls) and VoIP understanding.
- Excellent communication skills — you can explain technical issues clearly to non-technical teammates.
- Organized, proactive, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus:
- Experience in the gaming or BPO industry.
- Knowledge of cloud systems (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco, or similar).
