CPA Tax Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Tax return preparation:
   Prepare and file various types of tax returns, such as individual, corporate, and partnership returns, for a company or its clients.
• Tax planning and research:
   Conduct tax research, develop strategies, and provide advice to help clients or the company reduce tax liability and save money.
• Financial record management:
   Maintain and manage financial and tax records, including digital and physical documents, and ensure they are accurate, consistent, and compliant with regulations.
• Auditing and compliance:
   Conduct internal audits to ensure financial statements are accurate and compliant with laws and regulations, and act as a point of contact during external audits.
• Financial reporting:
   Analyze financial transactions, prepare reports on assessments, and assist with the creation of financial statements and budgets.
• Regulatory compliance:
   Stay up-to-date on new tax laws and accounting standards and ensure the company or clients are compliant with all relevant regulations.
• Client and management communication:
   Communicate financial and tax status to management, respond to tax and accounting-related issues, and provide financial consulting to clients.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax concepts.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
• Amenable to work on-site in Marilao Bulacan
