Operations Auditor is responsible in executing less complex tasks of internal audit activities within the audit project team. Responsible in performing audit activities to provide independent and objective assurance services to enhance and add value to the entire LFUG GOC. All activities must be made in strict compliance with the officially endorsed Internal Audit Charter.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Annual Planning
  • Participate in departmental planning, estimating, and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Audit Planning
  • Gather data for audit engagement and opening meetings.
  • Attend opening meetings with clients.
  • Understand and document business processes (flowcharts/narratives).
  • Identify and record inherent risks and controls.
Fieldwork
  • Collect necessary data and engage with clients.
  • Document processes and risks during audits.
  • Ensure thorough understanding of business operations under review.
Reporting
  • Participate in closing meetings with clients.
  • Clearly explain identified issues and discuss audit findings.
Other Responsibilities
  • Build professional relationships across all organizational levels, including senior management and the Audit Committee.
  • Conduct investigations of suspected internal fraud.
  • Execute special projects or investigations as directed.
  • Stay updated on laws, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Pursue continuous self-development in business processes and applications.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Provide consulting support for new or changing processes, products, or facilities.
  • Offer value-added recommendations to mitigate risks.
Requirements & Qualifications

Work Experience

  • No minimum years of experience required.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Internal Auditing, or Finance.

Skills & Certifications

  • Valid PRC license as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
  • Additional certifications/designations (e.g., CFE, CISA, CFA, LSS) preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, databases, and CAATs.
  • Advantage: Experience with SAP or data analytics tools.
  • Preferred: Experience or training in ACL (ACL 101/303).
  • Strong ability to analyze large datasets and prepare detailed reports.
  • High attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
  • Sound independent judgment.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
