The Role

As a Special Project Head, you will be responsible for serving as the primary liaison between business units and the project team for Project Rubicon, ensuring alignment of business requirements with technical solutions. This role is accountable for driving business-side deliverables, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with governance standards throughout the project lifecycle.

How you'll contribute

  • Represent business interests in all project phases, from discovery through implementation.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and SMEs to define, review, and refine requirements across credit card and debit streams.
  • Validate integration points for compliance, risk, and operational processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Project Manager on all business-related activities and resource management.
  • Work closely with ITG, Product Leads, Product Owners, and SMEs (Compliance, Risk, Operations, CMO) to ensure readiness for migration and new scheme onboarding.
  • Support change management activities and communication plans.
  • Collaborate with TCOE and technical teams to design test scenarios and monitor execution.
  • Ensure business validation during UAT and production rollout.

What we're looking for

  • With more than 10 years of experience in banking or financial services, with exposure to large-scale transformation projects
  • Has hands-on expertise in credit card systems, CMS migration, and regulatory compliance
  • Must have prior involvement in end-to-end system implementation and vendor management
  • as experience delivering in hybrid and agile delivery models
  • Must have a deep understanding of credit card business operations, card management systems, payment schemes (Visa/MasterCard), and banking operations
  • Has a strong grasp of governance frameworks, RACI models, and implementation planning
  • Must have the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements and evaluate optimal solutions
  • Has excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Must have a proven ability to work with diverse teams including IT, Compliance, Risk, and Finance
  • Has an independent, proactive, and results-driven mindset
