Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Refrigeration Technician with at least 1 year of relevant experience and a valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) NC II certification. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial refrigeration systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation in accordance with safety and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, chillers, cooling towers, and related components.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment efficiency.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Monitor system performance, record operational data, and recommend improvements when necessary.
  • Perform leak detection, recharge refrigerants, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics.
  • Respond to emergency repair calls and support facility operations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and documentation for all completed tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to company safety protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, facility personnel, and other technicians to support operations and project installations.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in industrial or commercial refrigeration maintenance and repair.
  • RAC NC II (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) Certification – required.
  • Knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems, control circuits, and mechanical components.
  • Understanding of refrigerants, safety procedures, and proper handling techniques.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, gauges, meters, and mechanical equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work on shifts, weekends, or respond to on-call duties when required.
  • Physically fit and able to work in various industrial environments.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

  • Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems (NH3) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge in basic electrical systems or welding is a plus.
  • Background in industrial plant operations or cold storage facilities.

Pay: From Php17,000.00 per month
