Position Overview:

The General Ledger Associate is responsible for maintaining precise, reliable, and compliant financial records. This role handles core general ledger functions while ensuring all entries follow accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and client-defined guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger Management:

  • Maintain the accuracy and consistency of the general ledger by performing account reconciliations and clearing activities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

  • Prepare, review, and validate balance sheet schedules.
  • Deliver insights and analysis that support leadership in decision-making and help drive stronger financial outcomes.

Process Improvement & Documentation:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance the efficiency of general ledger and tax-related processes.
  • Create and update documentation for accounting procedures, controls, and policies to strengthen compliance and audit preparedness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in general ledger work.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
  • Skilled in SAP and proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work cooperatively with various teams.
  • Highly detail-focused, accurate, and committed to upholding professional integrity.
