Seeking an Accounting & Compliance Management professional to oversee financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal control systems. The position is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting records, timely audits, and adherence to local and international compliance standards. This role is critical for maintaining financial integrity and mitigating risks through consistent policy monitoring and process improvements.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax, regulatory, and statutory obligations
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure operational efficiency
  • Coordinate with auditors for periodic financial audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
  • Monitor and evaluate compliance risks, implementing necessary corrective actions and policy updates as needed
  • Maintain proper documentation for financial transactions, compliance processes, and risk assessments
  • Analyze accounting data and provide insights for decision-making and policy development
  • Keep updated on changes in local and international financial regulations to ensure continued compliance
  • Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and periodic performance analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and ensure consistent compliance across departments

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who:

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy or management accounting is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or compliance management
  • Proficiency in using Xero and Asana
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal control requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple compliance projects and meet strict reporting deadlines
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information
