Repair Technician – Hydraulic

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Hydraulic Repair Technician who will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic equipment and systems. This role requires technical skills in handling hydraulic pumps, valves, hoses, and cylinders, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Engineering undergraduates with relevant skills and experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, hoses, and cylinders.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns and downtime.
  • Read and interpret hydraulic diagrams, technical manuals, and schematics.
  • Replace defective components, parts, and fittings to restore equipment functionality.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance follow company safety standards and industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate service reports, work orders, and documentation of repair activities.
  • Assist in managing spare parts inventory and request replacements when needed.
  • Provide technical support during equipment installation and testing.

Qualifications:

  • At least a College Undergraduate in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field preferred).
  • With hands-on experience in hydraulic system repair and maintenance (workshop or field).
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic components and troubleshooting methods.
  • Ability to interpret hydraulic diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Physically fit, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
  • Willing to work on-site and start immediately.
