Job Description:

A failure analysis technician is responsible in providing failure analysis to support customer returns, qualifications, and other engineering evaluations. Collaboration with FA requestors and other cross-functional teams is also required. He/she must observe proper housekeeping, environmental, health, and safety protocols while doing his/her tasks.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Education Level
At least a graduate of technical/vocational course
Working experience
Not required

•    Basic understanding of failure analysis flow.

•    Basic knowledge and skill in performing non-destructive and destructive FA techniques.

•    Basic knowledge and skill in operating failure analysis tools and equipment. 

•    Basic knowledge of basic semiconductor Fab, Assembly and Test process flow.

•    Basic knowledge of chemical handling safety training.

•    Basic knowledge in electrical testing and datalog interpretation.

•    Basic skill in physical failure techniques.

• No known allergy to chemicals.
• Good vision and dexterity.
• Computer literate (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Able to extract, analyze, and report data as necessary.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Good analytical skills, self-motivated, team player, and able to proactively communicate with others.
• Can collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
• Ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
• Can understand and follow more complex procedures and instructions.
