Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, move, and stack products and materials. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient and safe handling of goods to support the company's logistics and supply chain operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load, unload, and move products and materials using forklifts.
  • Transport goods to and from storage areas, loading docks, delivery trucks, or containers.
  • Inspect and perform basic maintenance on forklifts and report issues.
  • Follow safety procedures and comply with OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials moved or handled.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Valid forklift certification/license.
  • Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional):
  • Experience with different types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, pallet jacks, reach trucks).
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
  • Basic mechanical skills for minor equipment repairs.

Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced warehouse or distribution center.
  • May involve working in hot, cold, or noisy environments.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
