The Legal Department serves as an internal advisor, providing oversight and counsel across all departments. As part of the firm's corporate governance structure, the department monitors legal and regulatory changes. It offers guidance on a range of business matters, negotiates contracts, and structures new products for emerging business lines.

The FlexSMA Legal Offshore team specializes in key legal functions, including IMA (Investment Management Agreements) send-out and review supporting legal counterparts and stakeholders. By managing processes, the team ensures business standards are met effectively and efficiently.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contract and Legal Billing reviews and administration
  • Preparation of board and committee meeting materials
  • IMA send-out and Execution
  • Review of IMA requests in dashboard and preparation of templates
  • Verification of registration proofs
  • Handling non-standard/custom fees edit in IMAs o Execution of IMAs via Docusign
  • Finalization and record-keeping of executed IMAs to folder and Salesforce
  • Managing communications with internal and external stakeholders regarding FlexLegal matters
  • Other legal-related tasks covered by legal offshore team or as required by the firm.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors in Finance or Law, legal studies, or related field
  • 1-2 yrs experience working on contracts management/legal administration
  • Paralegal certificate is an advantage but not required

Qualifications:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, has excellent multi-tasking skills, and ability to prioritize activities effectively
  • Advanced communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Proficiency in legal software/tools
  • Must be amenable to work within 5PM-2AM shift
