Accounting Staff

OVERVIEW

1. Transaction Processing

a. Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.

b. Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers and journals."

2. Bank Reconciliation

a. Reconcile bank statements with the company's financial records.

b. Identify and resolve any discrepancies between bank statements and ledger entries."

3. Expense Reporting

a. Review and process employee expense reports.

b. Verify expense claims and ensure adherence to company policies.

c. Record approved expenses in the accounting system."

4. Financial Reporting Support

a. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

b. Provide support for financial analysis and reporting tasks as needed."

5. General Ledger Maintenance

a. Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger.

b. Prepare and post journal entries for adjustments and corrections."

6. Inventory Management

a. Assist in the tracking and management of inventory levels.

b. Record inventory transactions and conduct periodic inventory counts."

7. Fixed Assets Management

a. Maintain records of fixed assets and update asset registers.

b. Assist in the calculation and recording of depreciation."

8. Internal Controls

a. Support the implementation and maintenance of internal control procedures.

b. Participate in internal audits and ensure adherence to financial policies."

9. Tax Compliance Support

a. Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.

b. Maintain records and documentation required for tax compliance."

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Male/Female, 28-35 years old, physically fit capable

2. Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. An Associate degree in Accounting with relevant experience may be considered. Entry-level position; prior internship or work experience in accounting is a plus

3. Familiarity with accounting software and basic accounting principles

4. Experience with bookkeeping, transaction processing, and financial record-keeping is beneficial

5. High level of accuracy in recording and processing financial transactions

6. Ability to identify and correct errors in financial records

7. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

8. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus

9. Basic ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports

10. Strong numerical aptitude and problem-solving skills

11. Good verbal and written communication skills for interaction with colleagues and vendors

12. Ability to explain financial information clearly and concisely

13. Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and manage workload

14. Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities

15. Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

16. Ability to manage files and documentation efficiently

17. Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and other departments

18. Ability to build positive relationships with vendors and customers

19. Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and relevant regulations

20. Awareness of tax laws and compliance requirements

21. Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and maintain confidentiality

22. Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting procedures and software

23. Flexibility to adjust to changing work priorities and business needs

OTHER INFORMATION

· Willing to work Mondays to Saturdays

· Willing to work both in Trece Martires Office and other branches when necessary
