JOB OVERVIEW:

The Assistant Project Manager (Project-Based) at Data Lake, Inc. supports the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of operational projects. This includes assisting in site preparation, logistics, equipment installation, service activation, documentation, and project turnover. The role ensures day-to-day project activities are executed efficiently, on time, and in compliance with company standards while providing critical administrative and operational support to the project team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Project Support & Planning

  • Assist the Project Manager in defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Support in preparing project plans, risk assessments, and quality control measures.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for resource allocation.

B. Execution & Coordination

  • Oversee daily operational activities such as logistics, site readiness, and installation support.
  • Assist in monitoring progress against project milestones and updating trackers.
  • Provide hands-on support during project deployment, including scheduling and field coordination.

C. Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as a support contact for stakeholders, ensuring timely communication of project updates.
  • Coordinate between departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth project flow.
  • Document meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups for alignment.

D. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain project records, including reports, timelines, permits, and checklists.
  • Assist in preparing regular progress reports and presentations for management.
  • Ensure all operational documentation is properly filed and archived.

E. Testing, Handover & Support Transition

  • Assist in testing activities to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
  • Help facilitate turnover of completed projects to the Customer Support or relevant teams.
  • Support in documenting lessons learned and improvement areas.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or deployment (preferably in telecom/technology).
  • Familiarity with project management workflows and technical operations.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace; knowledge of project management tools (Asana, Trello, MS Project, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Willing to work in Pasay City

Preferred:

  • Experience in telecom, satellite, or internet service deployment.
  • Knowledge of customer support and escalation processes.
  • Project management certification (CAPM or equivalent) is a plus.
