Job description:

  • To take care of replenishing stocks for retail outlet from the Warehouse. He has to make regular checks of the stores and gather information about the goods that have to be bought supplied from the Warehouse.
  • The job of a Warehouse Picker/Packer is to pick goods from the Warehouse that are essential for the retail outlet. He also takes care of packing goods and ensuring that they are safely loaded on the transport vehicle. A Warehouse Picker/Packer generally works in Team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Taking orders about customer requirements.
  • Picking out goods that are requested by customer.
  • Ensuring that the goods are dispatched in time.
  • Making sure that all the goods are stocked in an organized manner so as to save time and increased ease of work.
  • Maintain records of availability of goods.
  • Work with different department to ensure that the Warehouse does not run out of goods.
  • Keep track of stocks received for various sources.
  • Take steps to return the products.
  • Ensure high quality of merchandize.

GMP and SAFETY

  • Observe and compliance with Safety Standard in the workplace.
  • Ensure that Storage Area is always clean and orderly.
  • Notifies immediate Superior for unsafe acts or conditions in the area.

Other Duties:

  • Participates in the implementation of facility and stock security measures.
  • Leads in the monitoring of anomalous activities such as pilferage, eating of stocks.
  • Participates in the monthly, quarterly and yearly wall to wall inventory count.
  • Do other tasks as maybe assigned by the Immediate Superior.
