Senior Software Engineer - Site ReliabilityNegotiableHybrid - Taguig | 3-5 Yrs Exp | Diploma | Full-timeJob DescriptionJoin Zendesk as a Senior Software Engineer - Site Reliability and work on innovative projects transforming customer service. Collaborate with a world-class team dedicated to reliability and excellence. ResponsibilitiesMonitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and applications to ensure reliability and availability.

Respond to and resolve service alerts and incidents efficiently. Participate in incident management lifecycle to ensure quick resolution. Enhance monitoring and alerting systems for better observability.

Automate mitigation processes through coding. Mentor junior engineers on reliability practices and incident response. QualificationsExperience with distributed systems in cloud environments.

Proven success handling high-severity incidents. Strong networking knowledge and software development skills. Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to lead technical initiatives. Basic RequirementsWillingness to work mid or night shifts, including weekends. Extensive experience with AWS, Kubernetes, cloud-native design, and infrastructure as code.

Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog or PagerDuty is a plus. Preferred Qualifications3+ years in software engineering or SRE roles. Experience drafting RFCs and collaborating across teams.

Interest in leadership and cross-team collaboration. Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Datadog, and PagerDuty. Work EnvironmentThis role offers a hybrid work model, combining onsite and remote work, with specific schedules to be determined by the manager.
