Position Title: Information Systems Audit Department Head

Division: Audit Services Division

JOB PURPOSE

The Information Systems Audit Department Head is primarily responsible for leading, managing, and overseeing the assessment and evaluation of the Bank's information technology systems, processes, and controls. The role ensures compliance with applicable banking regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices, while identifying, assessing, and supporting the mitigation of risks related to IT operations, data integrity, cybersecurity, and information security.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

Reports to: Audit Services Division Head

Direct Reports: Audit Officer, Audit Specialist

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

IT Audit Management


• Develops and implements the annual IT audit plan based on risk assessment.


• Identifies IT-related risks impacting operations, compliance, and information security.


• Evaluates IT infrastructure, systems, data, and operations.


• Assesses data security controls including access management and cyber defenses.


• Reviews IT systems and applications for security and compliance alignment.


• Keeps abreast of regulatory, technology, and industry developments.

Risk Assessment and Reporting


• Conducts IT risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.


• Prepares audit reports with findings and recommendations.


• Monitors implementation of corrective actions.

Management and Leadership


• Recommends departmental plans, budgets, and performance targets.


• Leads and manages departmental operations and staff.


• Conducts performance reviews and coaching.


• Approves leave schedules.

Other Responsibilities


• Facilitates meetings on critical audit findings.


• Participates in training and professional development.


• Performs other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

MUST REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, IT, or related field

Certification: CPA and CISA (required)

Candidates must possess both CPA and CISA certifications at the time of application.

Experience: At least five (5) years in Information Systems / IT Audit, preferably in banking
