Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate loan documentation for various credit loan products
  • Collecting needed financial documentation and assessed client creditworthiness
  • Ensuring loan applications are in line with the company's financial policies and regulations
  • Approving or denying loan requests, and communicating your decision to both clients and management
  • Usually based in a bank, microfinance institution, or financial services compa
  • May require field visits or customer site inspections.

Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor's degree of any 4 year course
  • Experience in corporate, SME, or retail lending environments is desirable.
  • Excellent understanding of credit principles, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong communication skills and proven customer service experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure
