Job Summary

Waymaker Technologies Corp is looking for a skilled and experienced Sanitary Welder to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the welding and assembly of sanitary piping systems, primarily for industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductors. The role requires a high standard of precision to meet sanitary regulations and industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and other metals used in sanitary applications.

  • Fabricate, assemble, and install sanitary piping systems.

  • Ensure all welds comply with sanitary standards and regulations.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.

  • Conduct quality inspections on welds and assemblies.

  • Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; NC II Welding Certification preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in TIG welding, preferably in sanitary settings.

  • Proficiency in welding stainless steel and related metals used in sanitary systems.

  • Strong knowledge of sanitary welding standards and best practices.

  • Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.

  • Team player with strong communication skills.

  • Physically fit to handle welding duties, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials.

  • Experience in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries is a plus.
