Job description

Colorado Shipyard Corporation is seeking an experienced Aluminium Welder to join our team in Tayud Consolacion Cebu. This is a full-time position where you will play a critical role in the construction and maintenance of high-quality ships and maritime equipment. As an expert in aluminium welding, you will contribute to the successful completion of our projects and help us deliver exceptional results for our clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform all types of aluminum welding, including MIG, TIG and stick welding, to the highest industry standards

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and work orders to understand project requirements

  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working order

  • Identify and troubleshoot any welding-related issues, proposing effective solutions

  • Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 year experience as an aluminum welder, preferably in the shipbuilding or maritime industry

  • Proven expertise in all major aluminum welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick)

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative production environment
