About Us:
We're a hardware startup focused on creating open-source 3D-printable projects and premium hardware kits for the maker community. Our products are optimized for consumer FDM printers and distributed through major platforms like Thingiverse, Printables, and our own storefront. We're looking to hire a full-time Fusion 360 designer who specializes in designing functional, well-optimized 3D prints that are easy to print, assemble, and use.

What You'll Be Doing:
-Design complete 3D-printable assemblies using Fusion 360
-Optimize parts for FDM printing on consumer machines (Prusa, Creality, BambuLab, etc.)
-Create clean STL exports and Fusion 360 project files
-Incorporate standard and custom hardware (bearings, screws, motors, magnets, etc.) into functional designs
-Collaborate with marketing, sourcing, and engineering teams to finalize kit-ready models
-Iterate on designs based on print tests and user feedback

What We're Looking For:
years experience using Fusion 360 for 3D printing-focused design
-Strong understanding of FDM printing constraints: overhangs, bridging, support reduction, wall thickness, tolerances
-Ability to design for multi-part assemblies and mechanical function
-Experience working with consumer printers like Prusa MK3, Ender 3, or Bambu P1P
-Familiarity with slicers like PrusaSlicer, Cura, or OrcaSlicer
-Passion for the maker community and DIY project culture

Nice to Have:
-Experience creating models for upload to Printables or Thingiverse etc.
-Familiarity with common hardware and electronics
-Experience creating simple instruction manuals or build guides
