We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our remote team at Roomi Group Corporation.

Responsibilities:

  • Review project plans, specifications, and client communication to determine project scope and requirements.
  • Utilize estimating software and tools to create take-offs and proposals based on company SOPs and protocols.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact project costs and schedules.
  • Respond to client requests for breakouts, SOVs, VE's, pricing adjustments, escalations, and other scenarios.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree – preferably an Architectual degree however will accept mechanical & civil engineering degrees
  • 5 years verifiable experience as an Estimator and/or reading construction blueprints on a daily basis.
  • Very strong proficiency in reading blueprints.
  • Very strong proficiency in using software – estimating software, Excel, Word and PDF readers.
  • Detailed, organized, and precise.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stokehold
